Well, I guess I'll see you at FBT on the 11th? This one day CB thing is slightly intimidating.Anonymous User wrote:Same.Anonymous User wrote:CBs at Vorys, FBT and Taft Cincinnati and squire sanders cbus.

No kidding. I historically do poorly at these massive callback dates. I would prefer the usual individual CBs.
Going to the dinner afterward? Do you know how many they are calling back?

Any idea if it is more than one?Anonymous User wrote:I know Jones Day Cleveland has given some offers.
My weeks long wait is looking less promising by the day. Obviously I'm not a top pick (maybe not one at all).

Yeah, I've never been to a big CB like this before. It sounds scary though. I'm going to the dinner. Are you staying in the "hotel room block"? Because I'm thinking massive sleepover party?Anonymous User wrote:Yes I'll see you there. We will have some sort of TLS code haha.Anonymous User wrote:Well, I guess I'll see you at FBT on the 11th? I'm from Cincy and maintain a residence there, so I won't be in a hotel.Anonymous User wrote: Yeah, I've never been to a big CB like this before. It sounds scary though. I'm going to the dinner. Are you staying in the "hotel room block"? Because I'm thinking massive sleepover party?

They told me they were taking around 17? Is that firm wide, I'm assuming? Because that's huge.Anonymous User wrote:I'm from Cincy and maintain a residence there, so I won't be in a hotel.Anonymous User wrote: Yeah, I've never been to a big CB like this before. Has to be. Unless they have suddenly come into more money and greater demand, and they haven't. Cincy class sizes are anywhere from 4-7 on average. Is that the location you are interviewing for?Anonymous User wrote:They told me they were taking around 17? Is that firm wide, I'm assuming? That blows. I am sorry to hear that.Anonymous User wrote:jd columbus ding. Good luck to ye remaining!
Not to add insult to injury, but would you mind sharing if it was snail mail/e-mail and maybe the date (this week)? Was it cb or screener?
There is so little information from them.
I am waiting on mine. That's why I ask.

Dinged via snail mail. Had a callback there in early August. Non-t14. I know they have extended some offers, and (for what it's worth) was told they would be taking a class of 5-6. Good luck to all waiting!

I received my JD reimbursement this week but nothing else. Probably rushed that out before the rejection so I wouldn't be asking about it.

I had a number of screeners about two weeks ago and have literally not heard a thing... getting a little worried.

Same here. I've heard back from a few with CBs and rejections but not too many.

Cannot speak generally about Ohio firms, but JD Cleveland was as quick as major market firms for me. Got offer five days after CB, which included both weekend days. YMMV.
Awesome office btw too.

Not trying to out myself, but non-t14, Ohio ties. They did take quite a while to get back to me.Anonymous User wrote:Mind posting stats?Anonymous User wrote:JD Cleveland offer.
Also, agree with poster above. The office was awesome.
