Re: Mayer Brown NYC cb --> offers
MB-NY sucks. They're so slow, endless silence after screeners to CB's, and then from CB's to offers. No updates, etc. I know people who have been waiting since 8/19 CB's, and people who have screened since 8/12. No updates, no courtesy notices, asking for patience, just slience.
It's not like their NY office has anywhere near the prominence of their Chi HQ, but apparently, they want to imagine so. Makes you wonder about the environment if you work there.
Either reject us or pull an offer outta your ass.
They were definitely my last choice, and I'm accepting elsewhere today.

Re: Mayer Brown NYC cb --> offers
Yep. That's after their 1st or 2nd round of offers go out, and if their are still unaccepted offers after the 28-day NALP period, they do a 3rd round and so forth. So you'll hear after the T-14's have had their fill, then the T25's, etc. Your waiting time depends on your stats.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone ever get offered after a month?

It's just their way of testing just how badly you want them, whether you're willing to decline those offers you received in early-mid September, when the 28-day period runs out, and you have to either accept the offer or wait for MB. I guess they only want people who have nothing else so that they look reaaly good as compared to those of us who'll havta go into ShitLaw.
