I have no idea either, but you could always email the interviewers and ask for an update.

I don't. I imagine they have strong grades, but not necessarily biglaw/federal clerkship worthy. Government doesn't care as much about grades in general, but I'm sure you can't be in the bottom of your class.

Any movement? Rejections? Request for additional documents, like a writing sample? I've heard crickets.

I haven't heard anything. Don't think they'll be requesting anymore info though. They should have everything they need to make a decision.

Does everyone who interviewed intend to wait this out? Or has anyone given up or accepted another position?

Thinking I may just forget about this, and accept another pending offer.

Hopefully we can still be understanding amidst these trying sequestration times. Unfortunately, tight budgets affect all persons involved in public service.

I suppose they are still trying to come up with the money. Any news?

Nope, haven't heard anything. Keep thinking in the back of my mind that they've scrapped the program and just forgot to tell me.

I know they cut the Honors Fellowship in the DC office for 2014-16, maybe the same happened for regional offices too.

That's terrible.

I have still not heard from Region 3. And I don't know of anyone who has. (I was one of the "finalists")

A friend of mine said EPA still trying to get funding. That was a couple months/weeks ago, though. He/she/it/they has gotten an offer and is probably going to take that instead of EPA.

Heard that they sent emails to people they were still interested in a few weeks ago saying that they got funding...that was before the government shutdown, however. Good luck to those still waiting.
