Had a lot of previous work experience that related to judge's specific department, personal statement talked about cultural background which judge liked, median fall gradesAnonymous User wrote:May I ask what your app packet is like? 100/200 positions filled
any news? I have been in review for over a month now. I wish I knew how this works. Am I still being sent out or am I just sitting in some bin?

Re: Judicial Internship Opportunity Program (JIOP)
Still waiting to hear from a DC judge but I've been told positions are still open in DC. Could be the same for other areas. So frustrating to be in review for THIS long.

Fellow JIOP applicant here. I had my screener last month- pretty standard: tell me about yourself, why law, which division of interest, etc.Anonymous User wrote:Could anyone share some experience for screeners interview?

pretty standard, it was a lawyer for a corporation in a large city, took no longer than 30 min, lawyer asked about background, writing sample, interest in the program, resume, plans for the future, and I can't remember anything else. i think they are all former participants, at least mine was. interview was back in decemberAnonymous User wrote:Could anyone share some experience for screeners interview?
