Ugh. I'm the anon with one of the NYC CBs from last Tuesday. I guess I'm out, but the person who took two weeks to hear is giving me hope (sort of) unfortunately.

Re: Paul Weiss callbacks
I also had a Tues callback and haven't heard anything yet unfortunately. They said it'll take about a week so I was thinking of giving them a call tomorrow telling them that they are my first choice, and try to leverage an offer I already have...any thoughts on whether doing this will help? Should I just wait?

Re: Paul Weiss callbacks
3rd anon. in the same situation as you guys - I was going to wait until the 2 week mark (which is the figure OCS gave us) then contact if I haven't heard anything. I doubt being 2 business days earlier would hurt though.

Re: Paul Weiss callbacks
i realize this is a self-selecting group, but it seems like a lot of people have not heard. could more people who have gotten offers give timelines of callback to offer?

I posted this in the CLS thread earlier, but PW NYC hiring committee meets Mondays and Thursdays, FWIW.Anonymous User wrote:i realize this is a self-selecting group, but it seems like a lot of people have not heard. could more people who have gotten offers give timelines of callback to offer?

Re: Paul Weiss callbacks
My CB is scheduled for mid-Sept...should I be worried that it seems most people's CBs were earlier?

So does that mean they do calls on Tuesday and Friday, or what?

Re: Paul Weiss callbacks
Did anyone with one of the earlier callbacks end up contacting recruiting to ask about the timeline?

Re: Paul Weiss callbacks
I had a CB in NY on Weds. The woman from recruitment told me as we were walking around the maze of elevators before any of my interviews even started, "The committee is meeting tonight, but you will most likely not be considered tonight because your evaluations won't be in yet. You should probably expect to be in the Tuesday meeting next week, but it might be later because of the upcoming holiday weekend. If they reach you on Tuesday, you'll hear on Wednesday or Thursday."
Hope this calms some people down/explains their current time line. Turns out Labor Day is a bitch.

Hey guys, I'm an associate in the DC office. Just wanted to chime in and repeat my earlier comment that offers go out much more slowly than at bigger offices because of our small size. It doesn't necessarily mean a ding. I know it's frustrating, though.
