Anyone have any insight/advice about what to expect during a PH NY call back?

yeah— our screeners seemed like they were asked by PH to do a lot of behavioral questions. Will that be true for the CB?

Yeah I had a CB with PH last year and there were at least 2 interviewers who asked several of those. thanks for the info. Sounds like you didn't end up working there. If you were offered, was there anything you didn't like?Anonymous User wrote:Yeah I had a CB with PH last year and there were at least 2 interviewers who asked several of those. Does the DC office also do behavioral questions? That kind of BS stuff just makes me really mad... and this no-offer stuff is not making me too excited for my callback.....

One interviewer sounded super burned out. Another questioned me on why I was in law school. Just not a good vibe. Met others who were perfectly pleasant, though.Anonymous User wrote:thanks for the info. Sounds like you didn't end up working there. I went to my PH CB and I asked the recruiter about the number of full-time offers given to summers. She said everyone gets offers pending no major screw ups. Did she lie to my face? Or were those rumors only true in the sense that the people no-offered majorly f'd up?

I don't see how 4 out of 20 summers at a V30 firm can MAJORLY screw up.Anonymous User wrote:I went to my PH CB and I asked the recruiter about the number of full-time offers given to summers. Yes I would say she lied to your face. I was told all summer long that I didn't have anything to worry about and that people only get no offered for things like throwing up on a partner after getting wasted at a social event. Then I got blindsided on my second to last day with a bad review and no offered a few weeks later. It sounds like there were more than a few no offers this year. I would look elsewhere if you have other optionsAnonymous User wrote:I went to my PH CB and I asked the recruiter about the number of full-time offers given to summers. Re: Paul Hastings full time offers
I definitely got no-offered there for "fit" - no major screwups. PH definitely seems to be moving towards an 80-20 model (which I have no problems with from a business perspective).

Can anyone confirm the 4 no-offers? I was told by someone at the firm that not everyone got an offer, but I'm really surprised to hear that it was more than 1 person.

Thanks for the advice. I'm def. going elsewhere. Turned down my offer, but it wasn't just based on what you said--I didn't quite gel well with the bro-type of atmosphere.Anonymous User wrote:Yes I would say she lied to your face.
