I can see this thread is getting pretty liberal with the word "sport".

Protip #1: if you admit to abusing the anon feature I am going to crucify you for it.

Protip #2: anon is not to a shield to prevent the shitstorm that ensues when you ask stupid questions. If you really want to know the answer to something, I suggest you grow a pair and accept the consequences of being an idiot.

Why does it upset you so much that someone uses the anonymous feature for such an insignificant topic?

2:50ish marathoner here. When I was at a V20, there were about a dozen or so hardcore runners in the office. Enough so that the firm had a locker room that was usually pretty busy in the mornings. A couple were high 2:40s. A few more were about as fast as me, maybe a tick slower. Several others were old-guy-Boston-qualifier fast. Most of us were either former college runners (albeit a decade or three removed) or competitive tri people. We usually swept the team competitions at the annual law firm charity 5k, though the individual competition was a bit out of reach -- when I was there, there was an OT-caliber marathoner who was an associate at a boutique who would drop a 14:XX. (My days in the 15s and 16s ended when I hit the legal drinking age, and even the fastest at the firm would be lucky to go 17 high.)

As long as we're being serious, I'd recommend squash. A lot of (old-fashioned, I've noticed) attorneys in my city play, and as it's something of a specialty sport there's a built-in sense of membership. A real blast too, once one gets the hang of it.

Awesome sport.

Does "hide the salami" count as a sport?
