Re: Seward & Kissel
anyone else leave your cb with the feeling that they are extremely hard to impress? it seems like their cb #'s are on par with a lot of the bigger nyc firms, but they don't make nearly as many offers

Does Seward generally give out offers into October?

Re: Seward & Kissel
Had been quiet on my end for about 3 weeks after the offer, but I decided to accept another offer, so I emailed and took myself out of the running. A girl in my class who had a CB there a few days after me received a rejection about a week and a half later, so I guess I was still in consideration. Hope that frees up a spot for someone.
Also, I am the poster who originally mentioned the sleepiness, and for the record, the other 2 doing the same were not me.

Re: Seward & Kissel
I suspect Seward interviews a larger number and has a longer recruiting process because it's sort of like a safety firm. It pays market in NYC, so lots of people who are competitive for V100s and V50s interview there, get offers, and then sit on them while they try to get V50 and V25 offers. Some do and withdraw, meaning they have to keep going down their list. However, given they only have 9 to 11 slots, it still isn't a sure thing. Out of 80 callbacks, maybe they have to go down to the 30th choice?Anonymous User wrote:Does Seward generally give out offers into October?

I doubt they had this many this year. Based on the reports here, much less people received a CB at my school than last year. That's not 100% though obviously.LawIdiot86 wrote:I suspect Seward interviews a larger number and has a longer recruiting process because it's sort of like a safety firm. Received a ding 4.5 weeks after my callback interview and a week and a half after I informed them I've chosen another firm.
Best of luck.
