Got one yesterday afternoon, maybe from the same firm that others posted about. Just above median, lower t14.

Is the career fair event itself useful at all for networking/resume drop purposes? I've only received 1 invite and have little ties to the office hiring. Not sure if it's worth the trip.

Re: Vault MCCA Diversity Fair D.C.
Starting to feel like my writing sample must have some glaring errors in it.. no interviews here yet.
JW, did you all put that you were attending the fair itself in your submission? I didn't, and I am hoping (!) that's why I haven't gotten any responses.

Re: Vault MCCA Diversity Fair D.C.
Just received an invitation but unfortunately I am not going because I am attending another job fair. However, I will be interviewing with the same firm, but a different office. How am I supposed to reply to the invitation? Decline and explain? Anything more I can do to maximize my chances?

3L with 1 interview....as for the career fair, does it list what firms are going to be at the career fair? is it just like a resume drop off outside of the scheduled interviews people are getting?
Was surprised to even get a firm interview considering it said very limited non-IP firms seeking 3Ls

Question. If I already got firm X from my school's OCI, and I got a request to interview with them during the diversity fair, is it kosher to interview two times with the same firm?

+1 I really need to know this because I don't want to go down there to interview for DC branch (which I honestly have no shot at) when I can mass mail them for a NYC (low chances but still something).Anonymous User wrote:I was wondering that myself--invite e-mails don't say.Question: Are we interviewing for the DC branches of these offices?

Now that I'm thinking about it: this will probably vary by firm or organization. Maybe try to reach out to them directly?Anonymous User wrote:+1 I really need to know this because I don't want to go down there to interview for DC branch (which I honestly have no shot at) when I can mass mail them for a NYC (low chances but still something).Anonymous User wrote:I was wondering that myself--invite e-mails don't say.Question: Are we interviewing for the DC branches of these offices?

3L here. I'm really curious about this fair. Anyone who participated last year willing to share their experience?

Negatory - but I hope that one comes tomorrow.Anonymous User wrote:Let me guess. Sidley?Anonymous User wrote:Got a preselect today - top third lower T14.
Well, you included in your profile what cities/states you are interested in working in. I only put LA, SF, and NYC, and got a preselect. It probably differs. I googled the "contact" they gave me, and he is located in new york.Anonymous User wrote:+1 I really need to know this because I don't want to go down there to interview for DC branch (which I honestly have no shot at) when I can mass mail them for a NYC (low chances but still something).Anonymous User wrote:I was wondering that myself--invite e-mails don't say.Question: Are we interviewing for the DC branches of these offices?

I'm still getting invites for interviews... I suppose I should stop complaining but two and a half day's notice feels very rushed.

Thoughts on taking an interview at this fair vs interviewing at OCI? Firm says I can't do both.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
