Staff attorneys can start off over $100K. Not everyone wants to be a partner. Staff attorneys also bill fewer hours. Just saw this...haha. I actually never heard back. It was a group in NYC- probably the same firm. I had a very encouraging call with a recruiter who told me to wait and then...nothing. From what I was told they were not hiring anybody in NYC but were hiring for other offices.
