Re: I suck at interviewing
one of my interviewers grew up near the same area as me and asked where i went to high school. he told me where he went and i said "oh, my sister went there." he was like "oh, cool. so i guess your parents moved?" oblivious, i said "no, same place, we just got rezoned."
my sister went to "North <noun>", he went to "North <different noun>," like 30 miles away. he was like "huh, interesting" and clearly thinking "what kind of asshole lies about something like that in an interview?"

Probably 80 hours the week that legal writing assignments are due. I don't know because I'm not keeping track of time (maybe I'd be more efficient if I did). I don't sleep enough that's for sure.

Re: I suck at interviewing
Regardless of why 80 hours, obviously a terrible answer.
Better answers would include:
- Overly academic nature
- Professors that add nothing not already added by the textbook/supplements, forcing you to waste time in class that could be better spent learning more.
I like to think of this question as a way to play on efficiency and ability to quickly learn concepts.

You sir are out of your mind. I don't think there was a week, including finals, where I've spent more than 40 hours a week outside class on work.Anonymous User wrote:Probably 80 hours the week that legal writing assignments are due. Re: I suck at interviewing
I've learned from numerous interviews you really can't tell how they go. Granted, I've never walked out of an interview thinking, "Welp, I completely blew that one," but I have walked out of ones where I got the job later thinking, "Welp, that was awkward."
Don't be too hard on yourself. Unless you could tell you absolutely blew it, it probably went better than you think.
