I see nothing wrong with that. Shaving costs nothing, and takes about 5 minutes. AND it's not permanent; you can start growing that lovely beard back as soon as the interview ended. I shaved for OCI, and had my beard back in a matter of weeks. It was no big deal.Fresh Prince wrote:The debate is arising mostly because some people "don't want to take the risk."concurrent fork wrote:+1 seriously I can't believe there is even a debate on this.traehekat wrote:clean shave = always fine.
neatly trimmed beard = probably always fine.
"scruff" = wtf
See, people who suffer from asperger's make a utility table or whatever that looks like this:No matter how small the chance of it being negative, according to that table, they should not have beards.Code: Select all
Chances of it being positive Chances of it being negative Beard 0% 1% No Beard 0% 0%
You're right though, taking a precaution that costs nothing and is not permanent is so crazy that is should be considered on par with asperger's syndrome (a form of autism, for those who don't know).
