Try getting some nice glasses.
I met a salesguy once. He had an absolute baby face. He told me that nobody took him seriously when he first started out. After a couple months, he got some glassses (without prescription lenses) and people started taking him more seriously.

Dont be such a fucking douchebag. He made a light-hearted and jolly thread rather than an obsessive and gloomy thread like most other ones. I for one welcome his question. So STFU if you think it's stupid.ggibelli wrote:you clearly have self-confidence problems. nobody gives a fuck other than you. so stop wasting threads on shit like this and act like you actually matter in the legal world. problem solved
ETA1: Also, learning to CaPitALIZE.
ETA2: ALSO, wasting threads? Are we going to run out?!
Youre fucking up my zen.

Agreed. I don't always wear glasses (only need distance) but I always wear them to interviews and meetings.bport hopeful wrote:I actually believe this. Ive always worn my glasses to interviews and formal events. Always felt like it helped.HBK wrote:Try getting some nice glasses.

Bet you could do a cool test on the results of people in interviews with and without glasses.

Re: The problem is with my face...
also your attire can make you seem older. avoid navy suits - stick to charcoal. also stick to white shirt. make sure to have oxford cap toes.
hair can also make a huge difference. whether its long or short make sure to have it neatly brushed to the side. no buzz cuts. no mop haircuts. i agree with the glasses comment as well.
also make sure to have a sophisticated leather portfolio and/or nice leather bag. its all in the details. just look the part and show you belong in a corporate setting and you'll be fine.

People do give a fuck asshole. First impressions are huge in interviews, and appearance is a large part of that.ggibelli wrote:you clearly have self-confidence problems. nobody gives a fuck other than you. so stop wasting threads on shit like this and act like you actually matter in the legal world. problem solved
Also, I've been able to grow a full beard since I was 16 to hide my baby face. I pity you friend.

The problem is with your thinking that the problem is with your face.
