I'd imagine all their offices will give the same gift.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:kirkland's post offer brownies were the greatest gift of all timeAnonymous User wrote:Do you mind sharing which Perkins office this is?Anonymous User wrote:Congrats on Perkins Coie!Anonymous User wrote:OP here.
Upon acceptance of offer, firm asked me to select a charity of my choice, local or national, for a $50 donation. Came in the form of a prepaid code at an online charity site that directs funds to numerous charities. Again, this was completely unexpected and came after I accepted the offer as a "we're delighted you'll be joining us for the summer of 2012" message. Beyond classy to give a gift at that point, and to have that particular type of gift... it's honestly just sort of staggering because it means a lot to me on several different levels. It wasn't swag, it was a gift that communicated a message of welcoming that I could not appreciate more. Not naming firm at the moment, partially because I want it to be a surprise for others as well. :- )

I would love a firm jacket. But it probably wouldn't get much use since I'd never wear it around anyone from law school (unless I want to wind up on ATL).Anonymous User wrote:Skadden said we'd be getting something shortly, as they sent a "congratulations" email and asked for clothing sizes. (I suspect a jacket).

Skadden also gives out an hour-glass queued to 12,000 hours. When it runs out it there is a big blinking exit options decalAnonymous User wrote:I would love a firm jacket. Haha, yeah, I thought about that. If it actually has a firm logo on it (and I imagine it will), I think it will be relegated to weekend use. I'd feel like an ass, otherwise.Anonymous User wrote:I would love a firm jacket. I'm imagining a bright red letter jacket with a big S on the chest. "Oh yeah, I lettered in doc review, no big deal."Anonymous User wrote:Haha, yeah, I thought about that. Oh right but I've just been waiting to hear back from Perkins for a while (I'm on a wait-list -- the office I'm waiting for already extended both offers and I'm put on hold in case someone declines). Do you mind just sharing which state?Anonymous User wrote:I'd imagine all their offices will give the same gift.Anonymous User wrote:
