Based on other threads, Stanford and Chicago are just getting their callback calls from Wachtell this week, so it's got to be Harvard, Yale, Columbia or NYU.

Can confirm I know of at least one cls offer. There are probably only 3-5.

Also assuming a wachtell offer is incredibly suspect of troll. Even yale students with several H's and journal do not get auto CBs, so anyone this confident about an offer is just yanking the board's chain or truly lacking in modesty. Maybe they sensed it on you, hence the ding

Had my callback last week and I'm beginning to freak out.

Does anyone know how quickly Wachtell lets you know whether you have the offer?

yes

I got callbacks at every V10 I applied to, however, I didn't get an offer at everyone. I did get offers from CSM and S&C though. I don't know why I got dinged at a couple of the other V10s.

Because aside from Wachtell Vault ranking does not correlate with selectivity once you reach the general grade cutoff

I had a CB a good while back (think 2 weeks +), and radio silence so far. So I just want to ask, has anyone heard anything? If not, does anyone from past years know what to make of this?

What I'd make of it is that you're still under consideration, which is not as good as an offer, but is better than a ding.

At other top schools, they solicit resumes and transcripts and then will do phone screeners with a select 10 or so students from that school.

Source: I am at Mich and know of a couple students who had phone screeners with Wachtell (no CBs though)
