Generally speaking, is no news good news? Do they ALWAYS get back to you?

I think so. For the most part, they'll eventually give you a ding via email or snail mail. Got my Troutman & mcguirewoods dings yesterday in the mail.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure mine are coming as well. My grades are way below median in every type of spectrum ever. There is no way they can look past that.

Did you hear by snail mail? I wasn't sure.

Callback from one of those two today! SEMJF rulz
Can you provide any info about which of the two you got a callback from? One of them is a top choice for me and now I'm stressing. GL on the callback!
Haha i narrowed it down to two firms! Don't stress though, its useless. On the phone I was told I was the first callback so I'm guessing there are more. Good Luck

Any news?

I've been looking around and it sounds like if you haven't heard back within a week, you've got a snail mail rejection letter coming your way. Is that generally true?

Also, once you get a screening interview, do grades still matter? Or is it all about fit at that point?

I received a callback invitation for one of Bryan Cave's non-Atlanta offices yesterday.

seems that way for the national firms. from what I was told by regional/local firm interviewers when asked about callbacks, they said mid to end of august.
