Although realistically, many of us will be looking at OCI next fall. Not sure if things will have improved substantially between now and then.

I don't think that's true. c/o 2011-2012 probably had it worse, if it is true that things really did get a little better for the current 2Ls (c/o 2012).

It will be interesting to see how much better worse 20108 OCI was compared to 20097.

NALP data lags OCI by years.

Are you sure? The trends they were discussing make more sense if we assume they were discussing OCI 2010 rather than c/o 2010 OCI. Most of their data pointed to a dip and recovery that wouldn't have happened from 2005-2008.

You are right. I forgot they had two surveys. One about how many people for this summer and one about how many people actually started working full time, and which school they came from. The later lags.
