Had my cb and was offered at the end of the day. I thought Pablo would be pleased to know.Anonymous User wrote:Even though I already have two V5 offers, I'm looking forward to my cb with them end of this week. But I won't be crying if I don't get an offer from them by the end of the day.

Corp.Anonymous User wrote:Are the ppl who got the same day offers lit or corp?
From what I understand, Cravath has a much smaller summer class for lit since they overestimated how many they needed for lit last year, I think. So they're looking for 3 times as many SAs for corp for next summer.
It's just speculation on my part, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

A lit assoc there told me exactly that. Seems like a terrible market for lit in general.Anonymous User wrote:Corp.Anonymous User wrote:Are the ppl who got the same day offers lit or corp?

I got terrible OCI results via proclaiming my interest in lit. I should have just said "uh I'll do whatever will get me a job." Live and learn.

Re: Cravath Callback
yea i've already had a couple firms (including cravath) say they were focused on corporate. i also had a number of interviewers tell me that the vast majority of their candidates want to do litigation, so saying corporate def would make you stand out.

Re: Cravath Callback
Yeah both the lit and corp hiring partners told me they want to hire WAY more corp vs lit SAs this year so I'm assuming its way harder to get an offer for lit.
