Had my cb and was offered at the end of the day. I thought Pablo would be pleased to know. :)

4:45-5pm
Really? Mine lasted until 8 PM. Started at 11 AM. 6 different interviewers, all partners.

Looooong day. But it ended well. :)

Nah. I just think you had more efficient interviewers. :D

Congrats to you too, BTW!

Corp.

From what I understand, Cravath has a much smaller summer class for lit since they overestimated how many they needed for lit last year, I think. So they're looking for 3 times as many SAs for corp for next summer.

It's just speculation on my part, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

A lit assoc there told me exactly that. Seems like a terrible market for lit in general.

I got terrible OCI results via proclaiming my interest in lit. I should have just said "uh I'll do whatever will get me a job." Live and learn.

ITT: Law students, despite an LD50 exposure to Palsgraf, struggle with the concept of causation.

yea i've already had a couple firms (including cravath) say they were focused on corporate. i also had a number of interviewers tell me that the vast majority of their candidates want to do litigation, so saying corporate def would make you stand out.

Yeah both the lit and corp hiring partners told me they want to hire WAY more corp vs lit SAs this year so I'm assuming its way harder to get an offer for lit.
