Anyone know anything about this firm? They seem generic and kind of small to me.

ding from RS NY--which is actually fine with me. at my oci my interviewer went on his phone for the first five minutes, and then acted like a greasy asshole after that.

Re: Reed Smith
Anyone heard anything from the Reed Smith DC office? I had a cb interview in early August and never heard back. I can't believe they'd invite for a 4 hour interview and then just never follow-up, but I could be wrong.

It's been more than a month now, I think it's fine to follow-up to inquire about your status and reiterate your interest.

Re: Reed Smith
I still haven't heard from a screener w/ them from over a month ago. Should I do this? I've been wanting to but didn't know what to say or if it would reflect badlyYea All Right wrote:It's been more than a month now, I think it's fine to follow-up to inquire about your status and reiterate your interest.

Re: Reed Smith
I've heard that they will pay summers more than the market rate($3,700 a week rather than the typical $3,100) in 2016. Can anyone confirm this? This is surprising to me considering this thread indicated in the past they paid below market rates...

I wasn't sure how to respond to your question since it's about a screener but above poster is right, might as well try, just word the email rightAnonymous User wrote:I still haven't heard from a screener w/ them from over a month ago. Re: Reed Smith
I had a CB back at the beginning of August. Never heard back despite a couple LOCI's I sent out over the 6-7 weeks. I decided to finally call and ask about the status. Left a voicemail. Never heard back. Obviously, there's no offer in sight, but I am a little shocked the firm would invite a person for a half-day interview and not respond.

Re: Reed Smith
People get placed on waiting lists after the first few rounds of offers go out. The firm doesn't want to offer more people then they need and then have them all say yes. It's a game on both ends. They give out offers to the people they really want first and the people they for sure don't like get dings pretty quick. The people on the waitlist are on hold until the people who were offered respond. And the cycle continues....Anonymous User wrote:I don't get how they can possibly justify that....

Still waiting to hear back one way or the other from early September callback for NYC. Has anyone heard anything? Does anyone know when the first set of offers expire?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
