I had a CB on a Thursday and the offer on Friday afternoon. Everyone else I know with offers also recieved them the day after their CB.

my inclination was that the committee had been meeting on Wednesdays. had CB last week and had hoped to hear from them yesterday, but nada so far. got a few positive responses to thank you notes, but nothing further.

Yes, there have been a few in school-specific threads (myself included, >2 weeks turnaround, although I withdrew my candidacy after they had decided/before the letter arrived I guess).

So rejections have been taking more than 2 weeks? E-mail or snail? NY office?

So if i interviewed Tuesday this week and haven't heard yet, I should be expecting a rejection in the mail in the next couple of weeks?

I guess it may be possible that they have a "hold" category-waiting to hear who accepts offer

There is definitely a hold category, unless my post-cb ding got lost in the mail...

Cb was at the Chicago office at the end of August. Still no word.

I also had a callback towards the end of August in Chicago. I too have yet to hear anything.
