I got three callback offers yesterday, but I missed one of the calls. They followed up with an email. I doubt they would just email without the call.disco_barred wrote:I have never heard of a callback coming by email. I've had two smaller firms email me with instructions to call them to set up times for callback interviews.disco_barred wrote:I have never heard of a callback coming by email. Has anybody else?Anonymous User wrote:To the people getting callbacks: are most of them coming via email or phone call?

I got all my spring callbacks via email. Maybe its just patent firms who know that nobody uses phones anymore?disco_barred wrote:I have never heard of a callback coming by email. Has anybody else?Anonymous User wrote:To the people getting callbacks: are most of them coming via email or phone call?

Relax. I got my first CB today (~V50) and I was the first person on their callback schedule.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else who felt pretty good about their chances still have no callbacks yet?? BS/MS EE, top school, still no peep.
I have a very strong resume (a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, have passed the patent bar, ranked in the top 10 at a top 50 school) and felt that most of my interviews went very well. Most were very conversational and enjoyable. I had one interviewer tell me: "good luck with the rest of your interviews, not that you will need it." I had 16 interviews, and have only heard back from one firm (a rejection) that does not do much biotech work (not sure why they chose to interview me). I think its easy to worry about not hearing back, but until we get rejections it is pointless to spend time obsessing about what it all means (I know I know, this is easier said than done).Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else who felt pretty good about their chances still have no callbacks yet?? Snail mail is so pointless.disco_barred wrote:I've been dinged from screening interviews by snail mail before, and I have heard it's fairly common practice. (Experience not from the patent fair, however).rayiner wrote:Anyone get dinged via snail mail? Do firms even do that?
