from what i could tell from people, debevoise was the "it" firm at NYU this year. but "what firm did you get?" talk was a lot more hushed this year probably, considering plenty of people had a hard time getting anything

I think Deb, DPW, and Cleary were all quite popular (for similar reasons) with NYU students last year. A decent number of people went to S&C, but there wasn't that much excitement about it. Cravath was downright unpopular. At NYU it seems to have a reputation for being a miserable sweatshop.
