Just got a meet up/interview with a firm I would die to work for. Maybe there is hope for me yet.

I agree with the general idea here (that DA's offices are a great gig for the summer), but most NYC DAs are not as competitive as biglaw or COA - it's really true only of manhattan. Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and SI, while competitive, are not at the same level as most biglaw or COA clerkships.dood wrote: Depending on the city, DAs office is not a bad gig...i.e. LA and NYC DA's offices are either just as competitive (and possibly even more so) than most of BigLaw positions or federal CoA clerkships.
