Might be good to have in case you need to print additional copies of your transcript, resume, etc. But otherwise you only need it if you want to waste time online in between interviewsAnonymous User wrote:Little late to ask, but should I pack my laptop tomorrow for any reason?
The e-mail we got today said there was wifi on the 6th floor

I'd absolutely bring it. There is a bag check on the student floor (or at least there was last year) so you don't have to haul it with you.Anonymous User wrote:Thanks!!GoneSouth wrote:Might be good to have in case you need to print additional copies of your transcript, resume, etc. But otherwise you only need it if you want to waste time online in between interviewsAnonymous User wrote:Little late to ask, but should I pack my laptop tomorrow for any reason?

I never brought mine but I guess you could use it to do last minute research between interviews (or in case your interviewer changes day-of)? I just used my phone.Anonymous User wrote:Little late to ask, but should I pack my laptop tomorrow for any reason?

Does anyone know how Cravath evaluates the UG transcript? My LS GPA is, I think, above their cutoff by a fair amount, but my UG transcript is kinda ass and might require a lot of explanation, at minimum.

I'm fairly certain they largely ask as a formality. I haven't heard anyone have it effect themAnonymous User wrote:Does anyone know how Cravath evaluates the UG transcript? I can't say how it is evaluated or if it plays a major role. I can say, at least in my case, they did not look at the transcript during the screening interview.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know how Cravath evaluates the UG transcript? I'm not sure if they actually look at it, but I think it's fair to say it's one of those situations where it can only hurt not help.

I have radio silence as well :/
Is it normal to get callback invitations a day or two after the interview?

Re: Columbia EIP 2017
I think so. I've heard GDC is slower and secondary markets are slower, a lot of firms vary in their timeline in NY too so just depends but idk, interviewed with STB and have heard nothing so far so not hopefulAnonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:This. CBs can come anywhere from the day of your screener to a week to 10 days later depending on the firm and market. NY firms are usually the fastest. Generally, unless you hear that someone got one with the same people you interviewed with and you haven't heard anything, no reason to freak out (and even then don't freak out because hopefully you're doing at least 20 screeners and the process will always be a little bit random and idiosyncratic).
