Dinner ordering opens at 5:50. You get $35.

Cars at 8pm. Firm black car or Uber/taxi. No hours minimum or anything

Everything anytime on weekends if you're at office.

Can anyone provide firm benefits for the V20 firms in Los Angeles?

Calling the LA super associate who has lateraled ~10-15 times within the same market...

Sarcasm aside, the benefits will differ marginally within that market, but if you're making that decision based on the firm benefits available to you in the V20 (or V##), you're probably weighting those benefits artificially. Focus on the career you want to build and which firm is the best in that practice area. And if you haven't figured out that point, spend more time figuring out that point. This is probably a "corp-->exit ops" type of question, but it's still a marginal one because the exit opportunities will be largely the same at those firms.

Or you're just excited about potentially having car services or a really nice health care plan (not unimportant, but secondary to building your career).

Edit: I'll answer as many specifics as I can think of. $30 for dinner if you *WORK* past 8 (as opposed to stay - if you're working from home you still get it) - you can use seamless or you can just turn in a receipt. Uber/taxi/Lyft/metro fare home if you're working at the office past 8. 6 weeks parental, 18 weeks maternity leave, 4 weeks vacation, standard shit w/r/t insurance and stuff. That's all I can think of at a general level, but if you have any specific questions I can answer them too.

Most firms will give you 30-40$ to spend on dinner either after you've billed a certain number of hours or after you've worked past a certain hour (again, depends on firm, not location). Some firms will let you choose to be part of a dinner order from one place (so you dont have to pay the service and delivery fees) or you can order on your own from seamless, postmtes, whevever.

Not many firms in CA do car service benefits. Mine does (which is odd), but I think its because we're a new york based firm and they just didnt feel like making office specific benefits.

What's your NY health insurance like? Mine is about a ~350 premium each month for a single person. 100% in-network, while only 70% coverage for out of network. There are no deductibles, but I have a co-pay of $25 for a visit to my PCP / $50 visit for specialist / $100 for ER. Is this good? Also a copay for medicine.

Not all firms bill those meals directly to clients--they just eat the cost.

Again, it might not be Seamless for dinner. It might just be "you can spend $30 on dinner if you [bill more than 10 hours]/[work past 8pm]" and then you can get dinner from wherever nearby.

You thought right. People are confusing SV with LA.

For instance, Wilson Sonsini doesn't officially let you charge meals to clients, they have a shitty cafeteria you can eat at for free after 7. I have sampled the food. Some nights it is literally inedible. Ofc, you might be able to slip a meal order in depending on client and partner, but it's not an official benefit and rarely done.

Firm will provide up to a $10k advance, pays full relocation costs, great health plan, $210/mo gym stipend, and one of the best 401k plans I've seen (and I've done a lot of research on them) in terms of funds that are offered (but no matching). The firm's BYOD program provides $1,000 every 18 months and up to $65/mo in data. Black cars available if you are at the office after 9 and dinner ($35) if you're in after 6:30.
