Top 25%, secondary journal, not URM, not patent bar eligible, no ties to any market
EIW: 12 pre-select, 5 alternate, 4 not selected
MCGC/SEMW: 5 pre-select (though got two firms twice, so really it was 7 selections), 4 alternate

What are the odds of getting selected as an alternate? Does it ever happen?

I would say the odds of an alternate turning into an interview is probably pretty good. I wouldn't say it's 50/50 but as the off campus programs return offers several people will drop EIW screeners (very often at the last minute) and many alternates will get those spots.

Speaking of off-campus program offers, does anyone know what kind of timeline to expect? Like how long til callbacks go out and how long from callback --> offer?

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
Generally, you should expect a CB call within 24 hrs of your screener. I know many people that got CBs by the close of business on the day they interviewed. However, that is not a universal rule but I would say that the majority of firms abide by it.RareExports wrote:Speaking of off-campus program offers, does anyone know what kind of timeline to expect? Got a Desmarais callback about 31 hours after phone screener interview, so I wouldn't be worried if 24 hours go by and you hear nothing.

Same, interviewed in the morning and got the call back phone call by the end of the next day. But yeah, it should be pretty quick in general.Anonymous User wrote:Got a Desmarais callback about 31 hours after phone screener interview, so I wouldn't be worried if 24 hours go by and you hear nothing.

Axinn is a mid-sized litigation boutique that is very selective (3 summers) and as of the 160k scale, paid market. No word on whether they went to 180.
Boutiques are great for people who want litigation because you work closely with senior associates and partners and get substantive experience very early on.

Also worth mentioning that they specialize in antitrust, along with a substantial IP footprint.PeanutsNJam wrote:Axinn is a mid-sized litigation boutique that is very selective (3 summers) and as of the 160k scale, paid market. No word on whether they went to 180.
