Hi! Sorry to ask again but if you could please provide any insight I'd greatly appreciate it! Did Recruiting let you and any other candidates know at the beginning of the CB before your interviews that many people from the Hiring Committee were going to be out of town and therefore they would most probably need a week to make a decision? That is what she told my group and we interviewed on Tuesday (the day after you).

CB was Thursday. Offer this morning. Don't let that upset you though. I think it depends on who your interviewers were and when they all provide feedback to the recruiting committee etc. Good luck guys.

Hi, sorry for the late response. I went for one of the callback evenings, so the recruiter told us all at the beginning of the CB that the Hiring Committee was out of town and they wouldn't get back to us until the following week. I got the call on Wednesday, so I guess their Hiring Committee got together on Wednesday. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I think no news is good news.

has anyone had a callback and later gotten a rejection or has that not happened for anyone yet? not sure how to take no news from a callback last week

firms operate on different schedules. I had a callback today and was told that they were waiting to late August to make offers.

Which firm are you waiting on?

A lot of offers came in yesterday. Mayer Brown, Morgan Lewis, Ropes & Gray, and Milbank. Milbank CB from Tuesday's CB evening.
