My friend got an offer. Interviewed with a couple divisions and was told that all offers are going to go out this week.Anonymous User wrote:Do you know this because you got an offer? Or were told they were coming out this week and next? Last I heard was "around Thanksgiving" but I know they have to coordinate among sections before making offers.Anonymous User wrote:Looks like CFPB offers will be rolling out this week and next.Anonymous User wrote:CFPB is conducting 2nd round interviews, at least in some offices.Anonymous User wrote:no (virtual silence after screener phone call)Anonymous User wrote:Any CFPB updates?

Same - from HQ, seems that one committee at HQ is doing reference checks, not necessarily the interviewersAnonymous User wrote:Got an email from one of my references letting me know that they were contacted by HUD.

They either temporarily stopped the interview process or are conducting 3rd round now and did not send rejections to second round candidates yet. They had 65 candidates second round and were moving to 15 for third, out of whom they'd choose 4 if that helps anyone.Anonymous User wrote:amen.Anonymous User wrote:Surely we'll hear from NOAA Friday, right? Where did you get that from? Is it not also possible that they just have not yet extended third round interview invites yet?

Were your references called once or twice (i.e. by your interviewer and then from HQ)? All of mine were called once by my interviewer, but nothing from HQ. I interviewed with a regional office.Anonymous User wrote:Same - from HQ, seems that one committee at HQ is doing reference checks, not necessarily the interviewersAnonymous User wrote:Got an email from one of my references letting me know that they were contacted by HUD.

Have they done their in person call backs already? I had a phone screener a couple of weeks ago and never heard anything and assumed they moved on.Anonymous User wrote:Anything Re: Round 3 for the NSA?

Has anyone not had their references contacted for HUD? I interviewed in a regional office nearly a month ago now.

No, I haven't heard since the phone screener either. Perhaps you're right, but I'm holding out hope for the first couple days of this week.Anonymous User wrote:Have they done their in person call backs already? Yea there is definitely still hope! They told me call backs would be end of the Nov. and beginning of Dec and that they knew they would have to be flexible with finals. Do you have any idea if they called your references? I don't think mine got called.Anonymous User wrote:No, I haven't heard since the phone screener either. Nothing regarding the FTC. I had a callback like 2 months ago after passing the phone screener and I haven't heard anything. I just assume I am out of the running.

Don't lose hope yet! I worked for FTC BCP this past summer and heard nothing from them between my initial interview and when I got my offer in December. I also interviewed for BC in August (for an Honors position) and they sent me a lovely rejection letter in mid-September. So you never know!
