Re: WUSTL EIW + Off campus Programs 2015
I was top 20% with 40+ screeners and 0 offers. Moral of the story is mass-mail. Now is not the time to be complacent.
Also, if you do strike out bust your ass to bring your grades up, get a JD/MBA, and try again next year.

What would you have done differently/done more of?sublime wrote:Yea, not too upset about it because the offer was my top choice and it all worked out, but you need to hustle. I wish I did more. No matter how many screeners you have, someone has struck out with more.
Also, no reason for a user with 8 posts to anon abuse. Not going to out you, but come on.

Damn sublime. Are you using your mod powers to see who all the anon posts are? You are going to know everyone's grades and where everyone got interviews. Stealthy bro.

looks like Taft is maybe out too (since mine switched over to "not selected" like the others that came out today that I didn't get)

The List - 28/38 appear to be out, although a few of these still say pending for me without showing up under invitations. No idea what that means.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off campus Programs 2015
I'm getting pretty nervous. I have some interviews with really great firms, but after hearing how people with dozens of screeners struck out I'm getting scared it won't be enough. I've mass mailed since the 6th of July on, and have heard nothing back from any of them. I've met with alumni, emailed with them, and spoken to them on the phone... so far none of it went anywhere. What else can I do?

Do as many mock interviews as you can.Anonymous User wrote:I'm getting pretty nervous. St. Louis Diversity fair results are out.
Also the switch to not selected is really mean.

All of the major firms by size except maybe Lewis Rice are out.

I think that it was all preselect, but I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. They all read pending for me, except the two that I mentioned, but I'm sure that'll change throughout the day, if not in a couple of hours.Anonymous User wrote:Is there a lottery as well?Jmart082 wrote:Yeah, Husch Blackwell and Armstrong Teasdale are the only ones out so far.Anonymous User wrote:St. Louis Diversity fair results are out.

How are folks doing so far? I'm not sure how many have come in but I have several interviews so far. Is Husch confirmed out?Anonymous User wrote:St. Louis Diversity fair results are out.

On a related topic, there's another non school related career fair I got fewer interviews at whose cancellation deadline has passed. How shitty of me would it be to email those firms and see if I could reschedule at this late date?

What's the recommended way to contact firms that held resume collects? Mail them as if they hadn't, or reference the resume collect and stress your interest? Wish more of those resume collects were actual OCIs

Are all out. I have 3x as many interviews at this fair versus EIW.

Would this involve you travelling out to see them?Anonymous User wrote:How are folks doing so far? I'm not sure how many have come in but I have several interviews so far. Is Husch confirmed out?Anonymous User wrote:St. Louis Diversity fair results are out.

Also PM me if this CCBA. Additionally if this is BASF, you can cancel your interviews by emailing Jenny.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off campus Programs 2015
The fair was all in one place, but basically yeah I would be in the city literally the day before and could visit them at their offices. Its not ccba or basf, but thanks for being so helpful!chingwoo wrote:Would this involve you travelling out to see them?Anonymous User wrote:How are folks doing so far? All firms? I still have some listed as pending, several of which nobody has reported on. Did you contact admin to check?Jmart082 wrote:They're all out. T'was brutal, but expected.
