I have only 2Hs, and 2-year WE. Do I have a chance at STB or Paul Weiss at all?

2H is borderline, though definitely doable with great WE (e.g., banking at BB, PE/VC, consulting at MBB)Anonymous User wrote:Help!

Hi HLS students! I'm a 2012 SLS alum and just want to send a friendly reminder that you can put this info into http://www.biglawrefuge.com. If you haven't heard of it yet, it's a platform for sharing anonymous job statistics with your classmates. Help your fellow classmates out and encourage others to share! You can also add interview with your job applications (like on campus interview, callback, etc), so you can share that information as well.
Good luck everyone on OCI and congrats to those with callbacks/cb dinners.

So lets say I want to go to Atlanta and 100% want to do litigation.
Scenario A: interviewers are corporate people from new york office
Scenario B: interviewers are corporate people from Atlanta office
What kind of questions should I ask? I figure I can't ask anything about being a lit associate at their office be ause neither actually know

If my vote is worth anything, I'd say keep it all in one thread for ease of current and future readers.Anonymous User wrote:Are we posting about callbacks in this thread or elsewhere?

@12:08 anon: yes, y'all should post CBs here to keep everything in one place, as robotrick said.
@ atlanta lit anon: that's a tough one but if you just want to end on a good conversation when they turn the floor over to you for questions, you can ask the usual questions ("how did you wind up in your practice area? What kind of matters have you been working on?"). If you have someone from the atl office, then you can at least ask about culture, training opps in that office, etc. And if these are satellites, which I assume they are, you can ask about the relationship with other offices (and one atl satellite in particular would probably like that ?). In reality, accept that you probably won't get much, if any, info about the ATL lit practice from either of these scenarios. Just focus on getting a CB.
@ both AtL anons: just be aware that Bondurant fills a very specific niche and has a lot of quirks. Not the be-all, end-all for Atl lit firms.

Mainly that it's a Democratic plaintiff's firm, which obviously isn't everyone's cup of tea. also understand you're expected to split and also required to clerk if you want to returnAnonymous User wrote:What are those quirks?

Re: HLS EIP 2015
It will vary widely. Many of the NY firms turn it around same day.Anonymous User wrote:when can we start expecting them callbacks?
Other markets take longer.
Especially those of you bidding DC, relax for now. Many firms there take a while.

Definitely not until after everybody's done interviewing with them at least. Probably a day or two after that.Anonymous User wrote:How long for W&C callbacks?
