Anyone know if historically the secret dinner is a 100% indicator of a callback? I had one of their last interviews and felt like it was my best yet but didn't get the invite to the secret dinner...Anonymous User wrote:So what's the secret dinner list look like today?

Silence from both but I didn't get Bracewells late nite booze invite.
Anyone know if Latham does anything similar for tonight?

Latham did not mention anything about a reception/dinner/drinks tonight in my screener, but I expect they will do something because they have so many lawyers in town.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Anyone gotten CBs from Locke Lord or Bracewell?

Recruiter said no secret dinner/reception tonight but will be doing callbacks at a hotel or something. Thought she said next week but I think a couple years ago it was like same day or the day after or something like that.Anonymous User wrote:Latham did not mention anything about a reception/dinner/drinks tonight in my screener, but I expect they will do something because they have so many lawyers in town.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Anyone gotten CBs from Locke Lord or Bracewell?

Sorry if that makes people more nervous or anxious or whatever, just saying you shouldn't have to worry about a secret dinner tonight from them.

I think Bracewell may be as good as finished since they had that "secret" boozefest post-reception.Anonymous User wrote:Any CBs from Locke Lord or Bracewell yet? Or Sidley Austin or HayBoo?
The other 3 I think are still up in the air

I've talked with 3 transfers this cycle and god damn, it's not looking not good. Collectively over 60 interviews thus far and not a single callback. I wonder if the firms are still trying to figure out what to do with transfers after UT's massive transfer class last year?

In general, it seems like it's feast or famine thus far. Some people are doing great, and others have nothing. I haven't heard a ton of firms that have confirmed CBs yet, so I'm still holding out hope that there is a chance with some of the places I interviewed with Wednesday & Thursday.Anonymous User wrote:I've talked with 3 transfers this cycle and god damn, it's not looking not good. Silence on my end. Not holding out hope for OCI, starting to prepare for the worst. I really just want feedback on if I'm striking out on the interview, or its just the fact that they'd rather have non-transfers.Anonymous User wrote:In general, it seems like it's feast or famine thus far. For those transfers that you've heard that have done well were they IP?
