I don't have a scanner so I just googled "signature" and pasted one of the images that came up into my doc.
Looks pretty legit, but I'm sure it doesn't matter.
lol just put

Anybody heard any good news re interviews from Chicago yet? Ive sent off ~75 apps to firms in the past two + weeks and other than a handful of "we will get in touch if we decide to bring you in", no good news yet.

same question, only for DC...
Also, did we ever reach a consensus on whether letters should be addressed to Hiring Partners or Recruiting Contacts?
Thanks TLS.

recruiting contact. I'd always double check the firm's site, it'll almost always tell you who to address

OCI is just gearing up here in Dallas. SMU is currently taking bids for OCI this week. You'll probably start to hear something in the next week or so.

I have 1 interview set up in Houston and 2 in Dallas. Definitely should be hearing back soon if you haven't already.

Since I have median grades should I still include a transcript?
I have my GPA on my resume. Is just a resume and cover letter sufficient since my grades aren't sparkling?

If they ask for a transcript, include it.

Obviously. But for firms that I'm mass mailing who do not ask for any specific application packet?

Resume / cover letter is the basic app package.

If you're top 10% should you include your transcript from the get go? That's what I've been doing.

Of the firms that I've seen actually specify what they want, I think everyone single one asks for cover letter, resume, and transcript.
I think every single one of my preselects wanted a transcript as well

If they specify, then give it to them. If they don't, then stick with a basic cover letter / resume. They'll be able to figure out your transcript to a degree from your GPA.

Same situation but only applied to ~10 major firms. Recently contacted by one to set up a screener, haven't heard anything else.

I have a lunch cb(?) (got it from mailing, it's with several hiring attorneys) ... but the recruiting contact didn't give me a time, and I asked but didn't receive an answer. Should I just assume it's at noon and show up then?

So I had a screener yesterday morning with a firm I really like, and I thought it went really well. I didn't send a thank-you email because I kind of assumed I would be hearing back from the recruiter that day or this morning, and I was kind of remembering TLS advice that thank-yous are not needed/wanted for screeners. However, now it's been like 30 hours, and I haven't heard anything. Is it too late to send a thank you to my interviewer? :/ What about to the recruiter, asking about next steps (is it too early for that or too late)?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
