Re: 1L diversity summer associate positions
Personally I would love to, but I think people can be a little cautious with revealing info before they have an offer, especially since there aren't that many callbacks, school spread etc. So even the fact that people give out office and firm is pretty generous. At the very least it's helpful for people to know if they're in the running or should give up. Lastly, stats aren't everything and I can personally attest to that with multiple offers extended so it's not always that indicative of another person's chanceAnonymous User wrote:Via phone call or did you visit the firm?Anonymous User wrote:Screener this week. Yeah, a little weary about it too. I think like T14/T25 etc. should be safe though, because at least my lower T14, so many people are getting interviews. I know one firm has been screening 1L candidates for like the past 3 weeks, and they haven't even gotten to CB stage yet.Anonymous User wrote:Personally I would love to, but I think people can be a little cautious with revealing info before they have an offer, especially since there aren't that many callbacks, school spread etc. So even the fact that people give out office and firm is pretty generous. Re: 1L diversity summer associate positions
Absolutely! T14 or even T6 is fine, but people have been doing that usually so I assumed they meant more about class rank or grades and that can become a little too specific. Like you said it's very dependent on each firm whether or not more detail can out someone.Anonymous User wrote:Yeah, a little weary about it too. Any offers in Minneapolis? Had a CB almost 2 weeks ago in one of the 5 largest MPLS firms and haven't heard back yet.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
