Re: Government Honors Programs 2014-2015 Cycle
Yes, but this is easy for me because I intentionally chose my law school based on the full scholarship they offered me. I knew from 0L that firm-life would not be for me (I went to law school for a second career, so I was not a youngin ready for 16-hour days at a firm). I'm very fortunate that it worked out for me.Anonymous User wrote:To those with an offer, would you take a bigfed offer over biglaw offer?
I think I would be singing a different tune if I were faced with a mountain of debt.

Re: Government Honors Programs 2014-2015 Cycle
No information as to whether they've "all" gone out, but I'm inclined to say that they have. But, we were given only a week (for myself, till this coming Monday) to accept the offer. So if there is to be a second round of offers going out, hopefully it won't be too long before they start.Anonymous User wrote:I hope not...Anonymous User wrote:Are all the HUD offers out?

Has anyone who was emailed by USACE about being considered for certain positions in district counsel's offices heard anything back from either headquarters or the district office?

US ACE- I heard about an opening in a location Monday, interviewed with HQ Friday, then heard an hour later from the location. I interview with the location in two weeks. Has anyone else had any experience interviewing at a district office?

Anyone heard from USPS? Applications closed on the 19th (I think), and now my status has changed from "Application Entry" to "Pre-screening".

Did you apply to multiple locations? For example, I applied to three locations and two say pre-screening.Anonymous User wrote:I haven't heard anything and my status also says pre-screening.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone heard from USPS? Has anyone been contacted about having their application materials sent to other USACE offices?

Friend of mine received an email from USPS regarding first round interviews today. I applied and have not received one yet... who knows if they went out in one big round or in waves.Anonymous User wrote:I haven't heard anything and my status also says pre-screening.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone heard from USPS?
