Congrats!

Pretty safe to assume that for the rest of us who interviewed with their SV office that our rejections are in the mail.

Every post I've read from you is literally the most ego fishing/whining I have ever read.
You should have listened to me. I posted earlier in the thread that MCCA was cancelled.

Lol one hour left. Looks like I was right.
#fruitlobberwasright
Cool hashtag bro
Did you guys put your GPA on your resume? I didn't even know we were supposed to do that

This is only directed at T14 bros btw, dont care about what people at Loyola did.
WTF is this nonsense. Why is this not open to T14s?
Tell us more about how T14 you are
Hopefully you aren't always this condescending with people who are trying to help you.
Requests have already gone out you dweebs. But it's possible that they are rolling.
Do you realize how dumb this question is?

and btw, I was obviously right about Friday.
The paragon of positive support right here.

And I don't want to make actually make a list of all the cool firms you name dropped for screener interviews.

Grow up dude.

FYI, Orrick dings were via e-mail last year (a welcome change after their previous policy of phone dings!).

Would love to hear of any movement for Skadden, DPW, and Latham! I think they did CBs pretty early (like Monday?) last year...

Email ding from Cooley (PA). Such a shame - I really liked them! Oh well, good luck to everyone else.

Sorry to hear that. I'm still waiting on them, but it's good to know there's movement. I'd rather just know now (good or bad) than be left hanging.

Congrats - I hope you get a CB! Looks like it's very competitive - I was dinged with top 10/12% at a lower T14. No ties. Not a remarkably terrible interviewer either.

Cooley PA ding. Top 20% at T14, LR, Substantive WE. Thought interview went well--must've been super competitive!

Also same stats. Guess they were looking at other factors. Or maybe it needed to be top 10%

Apparently an Orrick SV Callback has been given out but I have heard nothing on my end. Also nothing from Latham or Paul Hastings in case anyone was curious.

Wow that's a bit nuts. Now I'm just waiting for my rejection. My email system must be slow. (Top third at T14)

ETA: Has anyone gotten a callback from them?

I posted earlier in the thread that I got a callback on Monday. Unsure of ranking (probably between top 10-30%) at a T14, secondary journal, unimportant WE, fine interview.

I think you guys are overestimating the importance of GPA, law review, and school ranking (ie, T14) in getting callbacks. Those are things that get you preselected for screeners; they don't distinguish you from every other candidate who got a screener. I think you should be more focused on your performance in the interview.

I hope this is helpful.

Callbacks that I know of are:
- Latham SV
- Finnegan
- Fenwick MV
- WilmerHale SV
- Dechert SV

I completely agree with you. Screening interviews are all about the best personality fit for the firm.

Yes. I received a callback on Monday. But I believe they had more than one interviewer.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
