K&L gates now showing under with invitations for Texas. I'm pretty sure this means something.

Don't get your hopes up, I would be very surprised if they came out before tomorrow.

I have four firms showing, and I know for a fact (don't ask) that one of them has selected me. I think symplicity has bugged to show invitations for Texas. I agree though that they probably won't post today.

I have three firms showing, and I don't know anything for a fact. So that's all I can contribute.

EDIT: Those three came through as invitations. Thompson & Knight, Jackson Walker, and K&L Gates. The others say "pending".

I don't know if it was this way for the Texas walk arounds before, but now there is an 'invitations' column showing pending at all 8 firms for me.

Jackson Walker did the same for me. The interview on the 19th is in Houston, right? I'm not trying to have a 20 min screener then drive/fly/run to Houston for any others I might/hope to get.

Mass mail both cities now and tell the firms you'll be there on the 18th/19th. I already got another interview in Dallas doing that.

If it says pending, is it likely you're not getting any interviews?

If it says pending and others have interviews, then you were not selected.

Is it only the Dallas firms that posted up interviews? Has anyone gotten an interview from Shook?

(S)he's asking about Shook's Houston office for the Texas walk around, not Shook KC at EIW.

Sidley Austin is now showing under Texas "with invitations" as pending. Anyone else have other movement?

I have Sidley as well. Also my T&K interview time got taken away so I had to reschedule (which is going to make my day much more complicated).

Anyone on here with T&K at 1120, 1140, 420, or 440?

How long are you saving between interviews? Being a walk around makes it a little more difficult to budget time.

Also, are people thinking of renting a car and driving between Dallas and Houston? It's only a 3-4 hour drive (but not in traffic!) so it seems doable.

There's probably also a mega bus or something available for cheap.

Im leaving 40 minutes between interviews, but I also have a mass mail interview with Baker Botts that might be callback length (wasn't clear from the email).

Also, it looks like Shook and Kirkland are in the same building in Houston.

Have a big "not selected" for Munsch in Dallas. So I guess that one is out.

So are non-STL Bryan Cave offices off the menu for this cycle?

Has anyone tried actually asking CSO? Also, im convinced they just put those up there to get people to admit they don't really want to be in STL. Not aware of anyone with an offer from non-STL Bryan Cave last year.

STL firms suck for having this presumption against out-of-towners. Why don't they just interview people to find out for sure if they would accept an offer with the firm. Whatever, I wouldn't want my future children to grow up in a "city" where what high school you went to is more important that what you've acomplished anyway.
