Does anyone know if people who got the CALI in a class have been notified yet? I have some basis to think they have not been, which I find remarkable given that such information, if ever, would come in hand during EIW.

Got a CB from Simpson today. Interviewed with Fried Frank and didn't hear back yet - so probably no CB for me there, I'm guessing.

I get 'Why this firm?' a lot - it's good to have a compelling/enthusiastic-but-not-too-enthusiastic answer ready for that one. 'What area of practice' comes up but sometimes it's a bit of a trick question - some places want you to stay flexible/open-minded (e.g. Latham's unassigned associate program). 'What do you do in your spare time/what do you do that's creative/etc.' questions occasionally come up - usually not terribly serious, just trying to lob a softball to see what makes you a three-dimensional personable human being. 'Why choose this market' questions come up too - basically everything we were told to expect actually comes up in some form or another.
I don't get a lot of questions about any of my classes (they don't care), or what I did this summer (but then again, I'm an evening student - so I work. duh.).

Was GG your interviewer for Simpson, or one of the others?
Stats?

No - I had someone who might have been a fill-in - not the original interviewer and can't remember who that person was supposed to be.
Stats: GPA 3.76, secondary journal, some previous legal work experience.

Which Venable office? Transfer student with a 3.96 from a T1. Getting worried that I've had 9 interviews and no callbacks...
