No decisions at all from Texas yet. Could out myself if I said where dings were from, but post-CB rejections were from flyover country as well as major market near school.

Dings are rollin in today. Handful of upper vault ie WLRK rejections (no interview w/ these, applied Dec. 1)

Can you say whether it was for corporate or just general? I know of two V10s in Silicon Valley interviewing specifically for separate groups (as opposed to general SA) and am wondering if your offer was from either one of these.

slim pickin's from those around ~T15

One secondary market screener and one primary market screener + a number of firms that will be at spring OCI. About 75 dings and about 75 applications that are still in consideration.

Baker Botts Houston is interviewing 25 1Ls at UT on Thursday. Anyone have any idea how many of their 1Ls are typically from UT?

Had a phone screener for MoFo SV office diversity last week. They said in a week or so, they'll contact for CBs, and they want to have this entire process done by early to mid-Feb.

Ones I know in Dallas (with the caveat that some may have changed since I did OCI and others may be flexible on a case-by-case basis but most listed prefered first-half or full summer only):

Andrews Kurth
Dentons
Gardere
Morgan Lewis
mckool smith
Fish & Richardson
Bracewell & Giuliani
Munsch Hardt (pay 145K)
Looper Reed (not market)
Bickel & Brewer (litigation boutique - pays 185K but you bill 2400+ hours minimum)
Cox Smith Matthews (smaller, not market)

More firms in Houston have 2nd half, including some of the ones listed above. I also knew of someone who went to Skadden for the 2nd half.

Source: speaking with firms/recruiting staff and my school's OCI firm list (wasn't always 100% accurate as some firms changed)
