I also haven't heard from Cleary (WG) and I thought my interview went well; I wouldn't stress yet. What firms are notifying about callbacks on Saturday? Only A&O?

WG. Don't think it was grades because I've gotten cbs at higher ranked firms but not sure. I don't think the interviewer and I really clicked- so that might have been it FWIW

At the same time, though, I know a friend has a Cleary NY CB interview scheduled for this coming week, so it is very hard to know where we stand. Perhaps those of us who have not yet been outright dinged will be notified once they know who is accepting a callback? Does that seem possible?Anonymous User wrote:WG. just wanted to jump in here to say how ridiculous and uninformed that statement is - "ranking" does not correlate with selectivity (see Patterson Belknap, Munger, Irell, Boies, William & Connely, Susman, Jenner DC, Roberts and Holland (unranked), and MANY other firms). additionally, some firms look for more than just grades. the magic circle (and to some extent Skadden) isn't particularly grade-picky, but if you've never left the country, they're probably going to be less than excited about you regardless of your GPA.Anonymous User wrote:WG. pull it together and find some validation in something other than rankings (i know that's difficult for a lot of law students, especially during EIW, but let's say we give it a good college try, eh?).

for both --> I think it went well, I enjoyed talking to them. Good rapport. Think they liked me too but who really knows.
