DC. Seemed specific to the area but not sure.
Didn't Sheppard Mullin interview today, primarily? Have these dinner offers been coming out right after interviews?

Wondering this too. I've only heard back from one firm so far, and I had 10 interviews yesterday.

Also, does DC work on the same 24 hour turnaround time as NYC?
I received word from a DC office that interviewed Monday that CBs will go out later this week. Don't want to say much more but take that for what it's worth.

In other news, do not schedule a screener with a Wilmington firm unless you have a really compelling reason to work in Delaware. Most awkward 20 minutes of my life.

What different things have you heard? Had an interview today, didn't get invited (but some friends who interviewed yesterday did). Should I just tentatively drop it in the reject pile?

Damn. They were really a top choice.

Dinner invite was sufficient for callbacks, and was firmwide. I don't know if it was necessary for one, though.

I've read in other forums/sites that it's not absolutely necessary. One OCS person at GULC said dinner invite is tantamount to CB, but tonight at dinner did not receive CB, have been advised that they trickle out over 1-2 weeks.

Last year I wasn't invited to the dinner but later received a callback and an offer. So you're not necessarily rejected.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
