It's different - all my mass mail callbacks have been by email too.Anonymous User wrote:Maybe it's different for career fairs and/or 2L OCI, but all my massmail callbacks have been offered via email.
Anyone else deferred by OMM? Feels weird.

Yes, not sure what to think of that. It's like being cute enough to date, but they are going to go play the field a little more.Anonymous User wrote:It's different - all my mass mail callbacks have been by email too.Anonymous User wrote:Maybe it's different for career fairs and/or 2L OCI, but all my massmail callbacks have been offered via email.

Also deferred from OMM. It is a little weird, but on the bright side, at least we don't have to use up a bid during on-campus recruiting.Anonymous User wrote:It's different - all my mass mail callbacks have been by email too.Anonymous User wrote:Maybe it's different for career fairs and/or 2L OCI, but all my massmail callbacks have been offered via email.

Only hoping I managed to turn one of those interviews into a callback. If not, ouch my confidence.Anonymous User wrote:Also deferred from OMM. Same. Is it just wait and see but not outright rejection then?Anonymous User wrote:Also deferred by OMM. Feels similar to being yield protected during law school admissions.
I'm thinking it's a soft ding. My question is why they copied the interviewers on the email. It's not like they care.Anonymous User wrote:Same. I also vote we keep a tally of firms that have responded - OP perhaps?Anonymous User wrote:Any firms besides Latham and OMM get back to people yet?
That's what I feared.Anonymous User wrote:I'm thinking it's a soft ding. My question is why they copied the interviewers on the email. It's not like they care.Anonymous User wrote:Same. I heard it was just SF Latham. Has SV Latham gotten out CBs as well?Anonymous User wrote:Any firms besides Latham and OMM get back to people yet?

Personally, I am confused because Latham had two different interviews. One was for "SF/SV" (whatever that means) and one was just for "SV." So, perhaps, the SF/SV interviews have just made decisions. Unless, someone who did interview with the single SV office can confirm a CB with them.
