Re: NYU 2010 EIW Callbacks Thread
Sounds like there was some activity today from some of the holdout firms. Anyone got stats or interviewer initials for Kramer Levin or Katten Muchin callbacks?

Our EIW thread pales in comparison to the CLS thread. We're anonymous people! Let it all hang out.

Mind sharing interviewer initials for Chicago firms (K&E, Jones Day, and Latham seem to have called people)?Anonymous User wrote:Damn, someone's racking up those CHICAGO callbacks. Stats?

slightly under a 3.5, secondary journal, nothing but positive feedback in sample interviews, friendly, have only 4 CBs. Completely shut out of CA. Devastated.

Sorry to hear that. It's rough out there. Try not to take it personally. I think people with 4 callbacks averaged an offer last year, and with your grades and journal and maybe a better economy I think you'll be OK.Anonymous User wrote:slightly under a 3.5, secondary journal, nothing but positive feedback in sample interviews, friendly, have only 4 CBs. There weren't too many Chicago interviewers, right? I feel like it was the same 20 or 25 people at all the interviews.Anonymous User wrote:Mind sharing interviewer initials for Chicago firms (K&E, Jones Day, and Latham seem to have called people)?Anonymous User wrote:Damn, someone's racking up those CHICAGO callbacks. agreed, this is terrible in comparison to the CLS thread. I've posted everything I know.
On that note, I know wilmerhale DC gave callbacks.

I've gotten 7 callbacks (transfer) and zero dings. Strange...waiting for a bunch of snail mail but still nothing.

Ok... I set up a spreadsheet so we can keep track of all the callbacks / rejections. Please add firms you have heard from. This will help consolidate a lot of the information.

Yeah the spreadsheet is nice, but I don't think we have enough information filled in yet. Only 10% of offices have given callbacks?Anonymous User wrote:CLS wishes they had a spreadsheet of NYU's quality.Anonymous User wrote:agreed, this is terrible in comparison to the CLS thread. wow you really cleaned up. Would you mind saying which firms (you don't need to say interviewer initials or anything -- i just want to know which firms are transfer-friendly). tyiaAnonymous User wrote:also a transfer... 8 callbacks (all nyc) with at least as many rejection letters to go with it
