I only had a CB very recently and didn't get a firm timeline. But if I hear I'll post.

I'm interested to hear when the individual who got an offer had the CB. Could be the hiring committee doesnt meet regularly this early in the process. I know another top firm told me timeline could be more than 2 weeks for them

I’ve done a ton of digging on old pre-OCI/OCI posts. It looks like around this time, people with CBs sometimes had offers 1-2 weeks later in early July. I would take a guess and say your odds of an offer go down slightly after a week+ of your CB, but you’re still in the running.

Not sure if that’s a result of the hiring committee or if that’s a result of just wanting to interview a few more candidates. Either way, it’s a bit uncertain before July.

That being said, for future interviewees, they move quick in July. Odds definitely go down as time goes on in July.

They just sent an email yesterday noting that they were now taking early applications, but didn't say if they were doing pre-OCI or not (but why else would you take the applications?)

I think they were asking whether the CB is 2 hours itself. Some one of my friends got a request for just a two hour chunk last week. Assuming they skipped the screener phase

Just got a sugarwish from Willkie. Did anybody else? I applied to the firm last year but got ghosted by them. I'm currently doing a 1L Summer Associate elsewhere now. T25, below-median GPA, Moot Court (waiting on journal), 1 YR WE, and master's and bachelor's from highly-ranked grad and undergrad universities.
