I wonder what day exactly the hiring committee at W & Case meets. I had my CB early this week and was hoping to hear back by today at least but nothing so far.

Not this year but when I pre OCIed all the offers were via phone. Some of them were preceded by cryptic emails with lines like are you free for a call tomorrow morning? I think we have exciting news for you. Stuff like that. But all the actual offers were over the phone before I got emailed paperwork.

I've got a straight to callback this week where I have a dinner scheduled for a different day than my actual interview. Never heard of any firms doing it like that before. I assume suit & tie is still TCR? Feels a little weird wearing it just to a restaurant without actually going into the office. Still bring padfolio/notebook to dinner, or would that be overkill?
