Do firms extend offers on a rolling basis? How long would you wait before considering the silence as a ding?

Also curious. Is silence the typical way of being notified, or do some firms extend formal rejections?Anonymous User wrote:Do firms extend offers on a rolling basis? How long would you wait before considering the silence as a ding?

Yes they are rolling. Firms extend offers to candidates they want then the candidate has 14 days to accept or reject thre offer. Firms likely haven't rejected you because they are still considering you but have to wait to see if the people they have extended offers to will accept or not.Anonymous User wrote:Interested in this as wellAnonymous User wrote:Also curious. Would it hurt your chances (as in expedite the rejection) if you email them about an offer that you received and tell them that you're keeping it open because you're still interested in them?Anonymous User wrote:Yes they are rolling. No, they will either just straight up ignore you, give you a decision good or bad, or tell you the truth that they can't let you know at this momentAnonymous User wrote:Would it hurt your chances (as in expedite the rejection) if you email them about an offer that you received and tell them that you're keeping it open because you're still interested in them?Anonymous User wrote:Yes they are rolling. This is definitely covered in other forums on OCI/screeners/etc., search "screener advice" and you should find some good stuff.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:1. Why LawAnonymous User wrote:Can anyone give advice on how to prepare for a screener interview?
