sort of my concern if I do end up getting a milbank cb, though that might be farfetched at this point. an offer given today would mean the 28-day nalp deadline would be nearing the end by the time you're in the door for a cb and most likely before you're given an offer there or not. if you don't have offers in hand, however, i don't think it's a big deal, especially for the bigger summer classes.

Yeah, just worried they're gonna have no spots by the time I start interviewing. Hoping thats not the case.

Do you guys think it would be a bad idea to email the person that requested my transcript and ask for some type of update?

I'm interested as well, but I'm sure they're just waiting to see how more callbacks go and whether students accept offers before any more movement happens on the recruiting front.

Offers should have gone out by now, especially for cb's earlier in the week. Anyone have any updates?

some places say 24-48 hours, and I did get an offer 48 hours after my cb on monday, but i think you need to be patient and not stress over the weekend. a lot of recruiting committees only meet once a week and issue decisions afterward.

I had one interview on Wednesday and got the offer Friday. However I had another interview elsewhere and they said they would get back to me by mid next week.

Different firms have different schedules. I know for a fact one firm has a meeting on Fridays to discuss candidates they interviewed with throughout the week and then they make offers the following week. So if you interviewed on Monday, you won't hear until the following Monday at least for this firm.

On another note: Are you guys getting invites to have dinner at the firms you got accepted to? I hate these things and would rather not go. Makes it so awkward when you have to hang with several diff groups at diff firms and then pick one after building these dinner bonds.

This is why they host these dinners though, to get to know your potential fellow SA's. I don't think you should feel awkward about attending several different firms' events.

I think it's important to attend these events. They want you to socialize and bond so that you can have more info for making a final decision. Don't skip-skipping looks bad
