Anyone get an offer from Skadden NYC yet? If so what was the turnaround time after your callback?

What is your source re: STB offers? Do you know how many days between CB --> offer was?Anonymous User wrote:NY offices of K&E, Simpson and Skadden have extended offers this week.

Re: 2016 Pre-OCI Interviews
What would constitute a "few days?" I had a callback on Thursday last week and it went well, the recruiting person said immediately afterwards that the reviews were already good, etc and I would be told in a "few days." Furthermore I made it clear that if I heard early this week I would be able to readjust my oci schedule and have a much smaller bid list (as I would at least strongly consider this offer if it was made) and the recruiting contact seemed very receptive to the whole thing.
Anyway my oci bids are due in 48 hrs and I don't know whether I should follow up, if thats appropriate, or if I am just being neurotic.

Re: 2016 Pre-OCI Interviews
So you basically told them that if you hear from them soon (close to an ultimatum), you're willing to cut your bid list because there are only a few firms that you prefer over them? I hope for your sake it didn't come out as arrogant as it reads to me.Anonymous User wrote:What would constitute a "few days?" Essentially yes. It was my answer in response to would you take an offer if we gave one to you right now and not do oci? I thought it was a decent middle ground answer.Anonymous User wrote:So you basically told them that if you hear from them soon (close to an ultimatum), you're willing to cut your bid list because there are only a few firms that you prefer over them? Re: 2016 Pre-OCI Interviews
If it was in response to that question, it's not as bad as I first read it and thought you just offered it up when they said it went well and would let you know soon. But it's also not likely to lead to an offer -- at least on your timeline. If they ask you that (which is kinda crappy), they're gauging your actual interest and they want people in pre-OCI who really want the firm, and so they can go into OCI knowing how many slots still need to be filled. You just told them that they are your safety net and leverage.Anonymous User wrote:Essentially yes. Re: 2016 Pre-OCI Interviews
Anyone w/ CBs at DC firms know when I can hear back with an offer/rejection? I know it's within 2 weeks, but if I interviewed yesterday, do you think I can expect a response by Monday or Tuesday of next week?

Any pre-OCI screeners/cb's for below-median students from T-14?

Re: 2016 Pre-OCI Interviews
Got invited to do a "screen interview" at the firm's office and was told I will be there for an hour. Any experience with this? Firm explicitly said it was a screener, but sounds somewhere in between a screener and a callback. I should still expect an intermediate/callback stage in between that and a potential offer/ding, yeah?
