Don't have Munger, but I have a few other V10 New York firms I would trade for Skadden (NY).

I'm willing to trade Simpson Thacher (NY), Davis Polk (NY), Latham (NY), or Cravath (NY) for Skadden (NY).

A general question on interviews, hope some 2L or 3L can hop in.

I did a few prescreen interviews. the problem is that my interview duration almost always lasted for less than 20 min (even though it said 20 min on the paper). Some only last for 15 min.

Is this a really bad sign? Is this because it is boring to interview me?

A screener interview going short probably is a bad sign b/c there really should be enough stuff to talk about to fill up 20 minutes. It doesn't mean you are boring to interview though--we probably all are after all.

In general, do you feel like the interview is going well, or does it seem awkward? If there isn't enough to talk about you, then you need to be asking more questions. Lawyers love to talk. You can even ask stuff you know the answer too (note: don't ask something that is obvious from the website though).

Hope this helps somewhat. It's not too late to fix it prior to EIW. Good luck.

Will trade Cleary (NY) or possibly Kaye Scholer (NY); would like either Kasowitz, Linklaters, Kelley Drye, Morgan Lewis (all NY) or Foley

Didn't make it to the orientation last night - anything worthwhile? Also, can anyone access the webcast of it? It's not working for me.

You didn't miss much. Arnold & Porter representative said don't have clue about what practice area you want to pursue and oh...interviews matter (and they will look over grades). Crock of shit IMO

I downloaded it, if you need it, PM me and I will give you the instruction.

The video has some problem, I tried three players, it finally worked.

If anyone can't get the video to play, try downloading it (either with a video downloading program, or just look through the source for ".mov") and playing with VLC. None of what they wanted me to do to play the videos worked, so try that.

Latham (DC) CB just came in - interviewed with them at EIW today. No others yet, but that's not surprising...

Nothing here (didn't interview with Latham), judging from previous years, CB's should roll out tomorrow for yesterdays interviews.
