My status just changed, so I think they are currently posting. Good luck to everyone.

Has anyone else's status changed? Those selected for interview, would you mind saying for what component/if it says?

Status still on "application received." I wonder how long it'll take to change, if it does? I wonder if they've got everyone and this means I'm outta luck.

It won't say on Avue what component selected you (though some people will know if they only applied for one component, of course). You won't find that out until Deana Willis sends out the specific interview e-mails.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone else's status changed? Tried to log into Avue, and it says my username doesn't exist. I did the request username via email, and it sent me a blank email. Lol at my life.

Does anyone else's still say "Application Received" only? I recall it changing to "Referred to Components," but it's back to the first notification.

Crap, mine never changed to Referred to Components at all. It's always been at Application Received.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone else's still say "Application Received" only? I recall it changing to "Referred to Components," but it's back to the first notification.
Ugh, this whole process makes me feel so sick to my stomach.

Mine says "Application Received." I got an email saying I was referred to components, but the status never changed to that on Avue.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone else's still say "Application Received" only? From the email I received a while back:
"Your application was referred to the components you designated for consideration. Your online status will not change and will continue to reflect that your application was received. We will update online status once candidates are selected for Honors Program interviews."

Re: DOJ Honors 2014
I'm one of the early "change" posters. Mine changed to: Selected for Interview. There is no component listed (and I'm guessing we won't find out until after the shutdown is resolved as Ms. Willis's statement made clear.) I don't think it's by last name (I'm middle of the alphabet), but may be component by component. My top-choice was Crim, but applied to two others as well. My guess is that they are still flipping statuses especially for components that have more spots. Hope that helps everyone. And as I said earlier, good luck to everyone.Anonymous User wrote:Or the the first letter of your last name . . . maybe they are updating alphabetically? (I hope.)

I wonder how long it takes them to change all of the statuses.

I know everyone got it, but I was just quoting it for those who were worried that their status had never changed.Anonymous User wrote:Everyone got this, sorry.Anonymous User wrote:From the email I received a while back:

If I don't get an interview, I can simply walk out of my current DOJ internship, right?

I wonder what the later notification is like to tell you that you weren't selected for an interview?
"We're sorry, but as you undoubtedly know and have known for a while, you didn't get an interview. This is your confirmation. There was no computer glitch. Go get 'em next time."
