JOB TITLE: Staff Attorney SALARY: $85,000 EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Ability to perform legal research using both library reference materials and/or electronic resource tools (Lexis, Westlaw, etc.); Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with others; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in English; Ability to organize and prioritize workload; Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions. HOURS PER WEEK: 40+ JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bar status must be "pending" or "accepted" to the appropriate state bar; JD degree; Bachelor's degree. SKILLS: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, WORD, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; Analyzing claims; Reviewing documents in discovery for relevance, privilege, etc.; Preparing the supervising partners and associates for trial; Assist in drafting memos and briefs and general proofreading.
